It is my belief that we are all doing the very best we can with the tools we have, and based on the experiences that have shaped us. I believe increased self reflection, self compassion, and self awareness can lead us all towards our life’s purpose, increasing life satisfaction, contentment, and hope for the future.
My goal is to meet you just where you are and use the strengths you innately have to support you on your path to reconnection, healing, and growth. I use evidence-based, trauma informed interventions throughout the therapeutic process to support you and your goals. I believe you are the expert on you! Therefore, I work collaboratively with you throughout your treatment to fit your unique needs, encourage authenticity, and self empowerment.
A little about me: I have lived in Greensboro, North Carolina for the past 14 years, but have lived across this beautiful state, and in 5 additional states throughout my lifetime. Traveling aside, North Carolina will always be home to me. I love the 4 seasons, endless trees, mountains, beach, and yes, even the hot and humid summer! I spend my free time with family, friends, and my pets. My hobbies are yoga, gardening, playing piano, reading, and finding ways to be expressive and creative. Being a therapist is what I am meant to do, it is what I have always wanted to do, and I believe it is a big part of my life’s purpose. Supporting my clients to live their most authentic, joyful lives brings me so much joy! I feel passionately about the power of holding space for people’s stories, our bodies magical ability to heal, and the value of our internal wisdom. I am fairly free spirited, love a good laugh, practice authenticity daily, am direct, and generally, love connecting with people! I look forward to connecting with you to determine if we’re a good fit.
